WordPress is powerful.
Operational visibility is harder to get.

Plugin updates can introduce regressions. Runtime misconfigurations stay hidden until they cause incidents. Remote management without proper authorization is a security risk. And without diagnostics, troubleshooting means guesswork.

Questions you're already thinking

(we get it)

For most environments, installing from the WordPress Plugin Directory is the simplest and safest route. Use the ZIP option for manual installs, staging workflows, or restricted environments — verify the SHA-256 checksum before upload.
The guided setup wizard verifies your hosting and runtime environment — PHP version, REST API availability, HTTPS configuration, and permalink structure — before enabling the pairing and connected features.
The connector requests only the WordPress capabilities required for its operations. You control connection status, pairing, and service authorization settings directly from the plugin admin screen.
Remote plugin and theme management actions are available only when explicitly enabled and authorized by an administrator. Bearer-token authentication is required for all protected remote endpoints.
Technical site metadata required for service operation: WordPress and PHP version, plugin/theme inventory, site health signals, and connection metadata. Detailed in the Privacy Policy.
Do not override warnings. Install from WordPress.org instead, or verify the HTTPS source and confirm the SHA-256 checksum matches before uploading.
Yes. The plugin includes a diagnostic export feature that produces a structured report suitable for troubleshooting and support workflows.
Yes. Install the connector on each site and manage them from your Monitor.CAT workspace, organized by client, brand, environment, or team.
Yes. Disconnect to pause the connection, keep the plugin installed for later, or uninstall completely. All options are available from the plugin admin screen.
WordPress 6.0 or higher and PHP 8.0 or higher. The setup wizard verifies your environment automatically before enabling connected features. Not sure about your PHP version? Don't worry — PHP 8.0 was released back in November 2020, so most hosting providers run something much newer by now. Keeping PHP up to date is important for security, and your host can confirm your version if needed.
